The railway line from Nis to the border with the Republic of North Macedonia represents a very important connection between the countries of Southern Europe and the rest of Europe. It is part of the Pan-European Corridor X.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Railway Corridor X, which includes international routes E-70 and E-85, passes through Nis, connects Paris with Istanbul and Budapest with Athens. The construction of a bypass railway would ensure the relocation of goods transportation from the city center with electrification.
