Description: In the territory of the municipality of Alibunar – in the area of the villages of Seleus and Vladimirovac, where the construction of wind generator poles for the wind power plant “Alibunar 1” is planned, detailed engineering and geological research was carried out. For the purpose of defining the geotechnical conditions for the construction of the newly designed pillars, geological-geotechnical documentation was done on an area of approx. 2,000 ha. The report was prepared according to the Project of Geological-Geotechnical Investigations of the Terrain, whose technical control was carried out by the Faculty of Mining and Geology, Department of Geotechnics and approved.
A total of 33 boreholes, 33 static penetrations tests (for the purpose of foundation of wind generators) and 27 trial pits (for the purpose of foundation of the plateau) were made.
Geoelectrical tests were also performed along the geoelectrical profiles. 17 (seventeen) points of geoelectric sounding were measured with the electrode capture of semi-current electrodes AB/2 up to 60 meters, with the azimuth of providing geoelectric profiles approximately north-south. Schlumberger’s symmetrical arrangement of current and potential electrodes, ie, A – MN -B, was applied.
Having in mind the dimensions and static system of the buildings, deep foundation on bored piles was adopted as the only possible foundation method.
