Construction of a drying factory of Lucerne
in Kovilovo

Description: Geotechnical investigations and laboratory tests for the construction of drying factory of lucerne in Kovilovo were carried out according to the Project of Detailed Geotechnical Investigations. The goal of the field work is to determine the lithological structure of the terrain, and the characteristics of the represented environments in the soil through laboratory tests.
On the field, 8 boreholes were drilled with a hydraulic multifunctional machine Comacchio GEO 405, and piezometers were installed in 2 boreholes for the purpose of observation, monitoring and data collection on the state and regime of groundwater. Drilling was done mechanically, using a rotary process with continuous coring. 15 static penetration tests with pore pressure measurement by CPTU penetrometer Pagani TG 73-200 were performed on the field, as well as 4 trial pits.
Today, this factory has been successfully built.
